Every child born is born with potential.

It is society’s role to allow this potential to flourish.

Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland has always striven to achieve this goal and will continue to do so.

The pandemic of the early months and years of this decade were challenging for so many of our members. The isolation of many of our members, which was so prevalent before, was now being actively encouraged to protect their physical health but in so doing, in many cases, negated their psychological health. We will continue to do all we can during the lifetime of this plan to undo the damage done.

We will not view this plan in any sort of restrictive way. We will not be satisfied by achieving ambition but only be achieving purpose – by helping to make the journey of living with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus that much easier to travel.
