SHINE - Household Staff

Roles and Responsibilities

Hours of work:staff work from the Saturday to the following Friday for approx 6 hours a day. Shifts are from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm and 2.00 pm to 8.00 pm.

Overall Job Purpose: to ensure all rooms and areas are kept clean and tidy in accordance with health and safety standards

Reporting to: Coordinator

Duties include being responsible for laundry, hoovering, moping, cleaning, washing up, dressing beds and any other duties that may be required in line with the overall job purpose

Preference will be given to applicants who can work for a number of weeks of SHINE.

To become a SHINE Household Assistant you must:

  • Be 21 years of age, or older, by the 21st June prior to SHINE starting Have experience
  • Be an excellent communicator
  • Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Be a caring, hard working, responsible and patient person
