Corporate fundraising

Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland (SBHI) is heavily reliant on support from our corporate sponsors to keep our vital work going. With a range of loyal supporters from businesses small through large, we have been able to support those living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus to make significant moves towards reaching their full potential –

  • Each year we enable over 100 children, teens, and adults to attend fantastic short-term respite breaks.
  • We facilitate our dynamic programme every working day in our Resource Centre for adults living with SB/H.
  • We provide thousands of hours of vital Family and Education support to hundreds of individuals and their families so that the challenges they face could be overcome.

We want to keep this incredibly successful work going – by participating in our fundraising events you will also be assisting all those living with SB/H in Ireland today in a very special way.

Our upcoming events include:

The Full Potential Sporting Lunch will take place on 27th March in the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Dublin. Last year SBHI held our first sporting lunch called Full Potential. Our wonderful guest speakers included: SBHI ambassador of over 20 years, Packie Bonner; RTE’s Darragh Maloney; Davy Fitzgerald; Anna Geary; and endurance athlete Shane Finn. We will be joined again this year by Packie Bonner and Darragh Maloney with more speakers to be announced soon. Tickets are €150 per person or €1,500 for a table of 10 people. There will be a 3 course lunch with wine included, speeches from great sports personalities, a prize draw, an auction and plenty of opportunities to connect with our corporate supporters from many different industries.

The Packie Bonner Golf Classic will take place in Palmerstown Estate Golf Club, County Kildare, on Friday, 14th August 2020. The event has been held in a number of prestigious golfing venues and consists of a four-ball event in which over 30 teams complete. There are longest drive, nearest the pin, and beat the pro competitions during the day too. Irish goal-keeping legend, Packie Bonner, is in attendance for the full day and brings his friendly charm to this great fundraising event. The day ends with a splendid dinner and charity auction which is hosted by Packie himself.
